贝岩Shale
|
| |
贝岩是一种碎屑岩，因具明显的页片状层理，故称之页岩。园区内的页岩多呈紫红色，形成于距今约5～6亿年的寒武纪时代。龟山页岩形成于静水的海洋环境中，为浅海一半深海的典型沉积。
Shale is a form of clasolite with plate-shaped bedding, so it was named shale. The shales in the geopark are purplish red and they formed during the Cambrian, 500~600 million years ago. The shale of Guishan formed in ocean of still water is a typical sediment in deep sea. |
